Sarah Salzmann is a Berlin-based digital colourist with a strong foundation in both analog and digital mediums.

Prior to her freelance journey, Sarah served as a full-time generalist at the esteemed production company Rekorder. In this role, she gained invaluable experience working across various aspects of commercial production, which provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry's demands and expectations.

With a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Film Studies, Sarah combines technical expertise with an appreciation for the artistic and historical context of filmmaking. Her commitment to precision shines through in every frame she touches, making her a valuable asset for your post-production team.

As an alumna of the UP.GRADE programme for colourists, she is equipped with a vast knowledge of post-production workflows, camera and delivery formats, color management, ACES, HDR, and VFX grading. Since graduating from the program in 2018, Sarah has been working as a freelance colourist, bringing her expertise to a wide range of projects.

She's had the privilege to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including: Adidas, Armed Angels, Asics, Audi, Babor, Bloomingdale's, BMW, Diesel, Elle, Highsnobiety, Jägermeister, Kathmandu, Mini, Persol, Vogue, Zalando.
